Changing God’s Word And Not Living It Is Dangerous

Jan 14, 2022 | Faith

This world as we know it in 2022 is changing so fast, but what exactly does God think about it? By His Word, not mine, He is probably getting pretty sick and tired of mankind! He specifies in Galatians the first chapter and Revelation the last chapter that those who add or change His Word are eternally condemned. Many live for themselves and their own pleasures and that is not His wishes.

For those of you who know your Bible, you probably remember the story of Noah. For those who do not, Noah showed favor in God’s eyes because Noah lived righteously and did accordingly to God’s commands. The rest of mankind did evil in God’s eyes. They were criminals, they slept around with those other than their spouse, they killed, they were thieves, and just horrible humans.

God wished He had never created man, but He saw that Noah lived righteously so He commanded Noah to build an ark with the specifications He gave him on how, He told Noah that two of each kind (one female and one male) of animal from the beasts to the creepy crawling things would come to him to be placed in the ark that Noah would build space for each and have provisions for each, and He told Noah that he and his family was to enter the ark as well. God gave him instructions for what to do and have on this 3-layered ark.

God was so sick and tired of mankind and their sinning that He was going to wipe out all evil by flooding His earth He created. And that He did! For 40 days and 40 nights it rained. After more than 10 months they were able to walk on dry ground. God promised Noah that He would never flood the earth like that again and God placed a rainbow in His sky as a sign to this covenant He made to Noah.

I tell you this story because life repeats itself. Today, there are SO many people who are once again sinning horribly. There are those who steal cars, break into homes, kidnap children, rape babies to adults, commit adultery by sleeping with others within the marriage and without marriage(fortification), commit sexual sin such as sleeping with the same sex or with animals, liars, deceivers, murderers, and much more. Today some turn God’s promise to Noah of the rainbow into a sign for gays, transvestites, homosexuality, and such! He warned that in the end times there would be mockers of Him. This is found in 2 Peter 3:3. Folks, what is happening today?

God created man and woman and today, I cannot tell you how many types people claim they are. They try to force schools to teach that this is ok. They say it’s ok to let the child decide who they are! Babies are ‘it’s’ until they decide who they are. They change from being either sex to the other. God ONLY created male and female. Period!

Matthew 19:9 says that the only grounds for divorce is because of sexual sin. Adultery is what it is. They remarry then it is also adultery. There are religions that allow dispensations, or forgiveness from man and not God, for divorce and they claim it is ok to marry again. They take God’s position and ok it. Nope, this isn’t correct and He also warns of this! Read Ezekiel 28:2.

God says in Philippians 2:3 to do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility think of others before self. Today, it seems like many live in the “me” mode. It’s always, “I want to be happy.” Many do what they want wether or not His Word is in agreement. “God wants me to be happy.” No, God wants you for His purpose because He created us to glorify Him and He has blessed each to be able to do for Him. This is found in 1 Peter 4:10-11. We are to be His disciples and spread His word.

To change what He wants is dangerous. Galatians 1:8-9 says, “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach the gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! As we have already said, so now I say it again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse.” In Revelation 22:18-19 it says, “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add onto these things, God shall add onto him the plagues that are written in this book: and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” What kind of plague do we currently have?

Everyone needs to really concentrate and think about these scriptures because to be eternally condemned means to spend eternal life in the lake of fire, or hell. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 says, “ Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revivers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of God.”

Those who keep practicing these sins and do not turn from their ways, change, and be baptized, will not go to Heaven. Many of such are trying to push their way into this world and get by with it, but when it all is revealed in the end, many will not make it to eternal life but will spend eternity suffering. Once you die from this earth as we know it, our souls will be judged and we either go into Heaven eternally or we go into hell eternally. Matthew 13:42 says, “Jesus says: “And shall cast them into a furnace a fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” HELL IS FOREVER! All who enter hell – abandon all hope! The horror of hell – for even one second is unbearable – but FOREVER!”

Living in sin and changing things around to please yourself and pacify your feelings is dangerous. Whether anyone believes in Him or not, this IS going to happen. He offers hope for those who mock him, those who sin, or those who are unbelieving to seek Him, hear His words, act on it and be baptized. It’s the heart that matters. It’s the WANT to change and have Him up front and center in your lives. You have a choice to keep mocking The Lord and changing His Word to pacify yourselves or you can change, seek Him, find peace and love. Are you willing to face the dangers of condemnation for sinning and changing His Word?
