COVID-19 hit this world in 2019 starting in China. As we all seem to be confined to our homes as of this day March 25, 2020, so many lives have been or are being affected by this outbreak.
One Dr. posted that this virus is about 10 times as worse than the normal flu. The definition through Seri on our phones says it is a respiratory illness that can spread from person to person and symptoms can vary from one to the next. Some may have a slight to severe case of fever, cough, and shortness of breath.
The CDC, or Centers for Disease Control, has put up guidelines to help protect the spread of this virus. They claim it was started by animals from China. Whether or not it was due to scientists experimenting or not, the world is paying for this virus outbreak. We must do our parts to help control the spread of this virus. This is a great time to be together as a family and read His Word and pray! Bored? His Word will entertain!
I have heard many who are starting fights or injuring Chinese people in the USA because of this, but am deeply concerned for our world. God says that there will be, and have been, illnesses and disease breakouts in His Bible. He says in 2 Chronicles 20:9, “Should evil come upon us, the sword, or judgement, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and before You (for Your name is in this house) and cry to You in our distress, and You will hear and deliver us.”
People are angry and I understand that. But to harm others for their anger is not handing their hearts to God. To steal and take from others is wrong. Our daughter was suppose to have a big wedding in April, but now she can’t have the wedding as she planned. That causes us to be sad for them and having to call or reach those invited to let them know, but we cannot control situations that arise. We can, however, live the way Christ would want us and call to Him for all things.
He promises to deliver us and so many crimes and hate is not the answer to His deliverance. Many lives and plans have been affected by this, but where is faith and hope in Our Lord? We must band together to fight evil by being Christ-like. I implore each of you to pray, to allow Christ into your hearts, and do as He bids you. Do not fall in the steps of evil and hurt each other. Love like never before!
