The weather warmed up yesterday,
So my hubby went for a stroll.
He walked around our little lake,
To find peace to a fidgeting soul.
Winter months and the frigid air,
Had finally warmed to a beautiful day;
So he walked on down to his fishing hole,
For some fresh air and to pray.
The snow had mostly melted off,
But the lake was still an ice rink;
As his eyes wondered ahead of him,
He had to take an extra blink.
There upon the center of the lake,
He saw a turtle walking away;
As my hubby got closer to it,
It paused to look toward his way.
My husband quickly took his phone out,
To take a picture for proof;
For never had he seen such a sight,
Nor did he want to be called a goof.
In amazement he shook his head,
As he watched it walk on its way,
His thoughts went to Jesus,
When He walked on water that day.
When he came back from his walk,
He shared his picture with me;
I laughed and thought I’d share,
